2025 NFL Draft Delivers Second Most-Watched Day 1 Ever

The 2025 NFL Draft kicked off in Green Bay with a massive showing both on-site and on screen. Round 1 averaged 13.6 million viewers across TV and digital platforms, an 11% increase compared to last year, making it the second most-watched Day 1 in NFL Draft history. Only the 2020 virtual draft had higher numbers. More than 205,000 fans packed the streets of Green Bay to experience the excitement live, as teams — including the New York Jets — made crucial picks to shape their future.
With all seven rounds airing across ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network, fans have plenty to look forward to as the draft continues throughout the weekend.

GREEN BAY — April 25, 2025 — Round 1 coverage of the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay was seen by an average audience of 13.6 million viewers (TV+Digital) last night across ESPN, NFL Network, ABC, ESPN Deportes and digital channels – up +11% versus Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft (12.3 million) and the second most-watched Day 1 on record behind only 2020 (15.5 million).
All seven rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft are being presented across ABC, ESPN and NFL Network – the seventh straight year that The Walt Disney Company is working with the National Football League to offer a multi-network presentation of the Draft.
On Thursday night, 205,000 fans attended Round 1 in Green Bay.
