Report: Jets to Part Ways With Aaron Rodgers

And just like that, the Aaron Rodgers era comes to an end.  Two seasons, eighteen starts and six wins (five if we’re being honest) and it’s all over.  NFL insider Jay Glazer is reporting that Rodgers flew out to meet with the Jets last week and will now be moving on.

It appears from various soures on social media that the Jets were concerned with Rodgers level of commitment and unpredictable comments being a distraction with weekly appearances on the Pat McAfee show.

So with Rodgers gone, Gang Green re-enters quarterback purgatory.  They’ve got oft-injured backup Tyrod Taylor and unknown draft pick Jordan Travis who spent all of 2024 on the non-football injury list.
