Report: Jets Decision on Aaron Rodgers This Week?

Jets fans are officially on notice for the rest of this week as NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero says a decision on quarterback Aaron Rodgers could come during that time.

Head coach Aaron Glenn addressed Rodger during his introductory press conference but would only say that he and the team had communicated via text.  When asked what it is he looks for in a quarterback, Glenn responded with a vague answer, simply saying “a winner”.

Rodgers has been that for much of his career, but did he do enough of it last year to justify a return next year?  It appears we’ll know soon enough if Glenn and the Jets believe so.

Should the Jets move on from Rodgers, Rich Cimini brought up the possibility of quarterback Kirk Cousins landing with the Jets.  Previously signed to a huge contract by current Jets advisor Rick Spielman, Cousins could be a veteran to compete with Tyrod Taylor in 2025.
