Jets to Interview Ron Rivera for Vacant Head Coaching Spot

A surprise name has emerged in the Jets coaching hunt as veteran Ron Rivera will reportedly come in for an interview.  Owner of three winning seasons through his thirteen years as a head coach, could Rivera be calling the shots at 1 Jets Drive next season?

Is Ron Rivera bringing his 102-103 career record to Florham Park and the Jets?

Since being let go after a failed run in Washington in which he went 26-40-1, Rivera has expressed an interest in returning to coaching.

Rivera’s teams have been the very definition of boom or bust as his three winning seasons resulted in a total win-loss record of 38-10.  His 2015 Panthers went 15-1 and lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.  This of course would put him at 29 games under .500 in his other ten seasons.
