Jets OT Olu Fashanu to IR, Will not Need Surgery on Foot

The Jets provided an update on rookie offensive tackle Olu Fashanu who left Sunday’s game with an injured left foot.  According to the team, he will not require surgery which was initially reported.

The first-round pick had been very impressive and managed to stay healthy through six starts left yesterday’s game early and was seen using crutches in the locker room after the contest.

With Fashanu done for the season, expect Max Mitchell to get the nod over the season’s final two weeks.
