The New York Jets are now officially mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. The team was realistically eliminated before Halloween, but now it’s official. Gang Green fell to 3-10 after blowing yet another fourth quarter lead against the Dolphins in Miami.

It looked like the Jets were going to steal a win as they took a 26-23 lead with less than a minute to go when Anders Carlson banged through a 42-yard field goal.

Tua Tagovailoa used a series of quick screens to march Miami down the field before hitting tight end Jonnu Smith for the game winning touchdown. After Shutting Smith down all day, the tight end racked up 44 yards and the winning score to close things out.
