Greg Zuerlein to IR as Jets in two Kickers to Practice Squad

The Jets have placed struggling kicker Greg Zuerlein on injured reserve with a knee injury while adding two kickers to the practice squad.

Both Spencer Shrader and Riley Patterson will compete for the team’s kicking duties for this Thursday night against the Texans and beyond.

A USF product, Shrader has kicked just 3 extra points as a pro after hitting on 68% of his field goals in college. Patterson, who kicked for Memphis from 2017-2020, connected on 77.1% of his college kicks with a career long of 53.
