Already dealing with an aching ankle and knee, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is now going to be limited in practice with a balky hamstring.
The injuries appear to be piling up for the 40-year-old signal caller whose mobility has been reduced to nothing this season as a result. Trying to come back from a ruptured achilles probably isn’t helping matters a great deal either.
In addition to the news on Rodgers, the Jets have placed offensive lineman Xavier Newman on injured reserve after he was taken off last Sunday on a spine board. He did travel home with the team.
Safety Jalen Mills who had a strong showing was added to the active roster and tight end Kenny Yeboah will re-join the team at practice.
The team also brought back offensive lineman Alec Lindstrom to their practice squad.
