Jets Week 6 MNF Inactive List vs Bills; Reinforcements in the Trenches for New York

In what could only be described as a chaotic week at 1 Jets Drive following their loss overseas to the Vikings, the Jets enter this AFC East matchup with a chance to take first place against the 3-2 Buffalo Bills. From the injury perspective, the Jets are getting some key reinforcements.

Offensively, RT Morgan Moses is on pace to re-enter the lineup after missing two games with his MCL sprain. His presence could provide a huge boost in the run game, which needs to get established desperately. Aaron Rodgers, who was limited again earlier in the week with his left leg injuries, is a full go for tonight, to no surprise. He must remain upright for the Jets to have a chance. TE Anthony Firkser was elevated to the gameday roster.

On the defensive side of the ball, DT Leki Fotu returns from the Injured Reserve after suffering a hamstring injury in the preseason. The team announced they released Jalyn Holmes to make room for Fotu on the active roster. Linebacker and captain CJ Mosley looked like he was going to return after missing two games, but is not active for tonight’s game. Starting slot cornerback Michael Carter II is also inactive tonight after injuring his back in pregame warmups last week.  S Jalen Mills was also elevated from the practice squad to the gameday roster, as hybrid defensive back Isaiah Oliver will be tasked with slot corner duties. Here is the full list of inactive players for this game:

  • OT Max Mitchell
  • OT Warren Carter
  • RB Israel Abanikanda
  • WR Malachi Corley
  • EDGE Braiden McGregor
  • CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse
  • CB Michael Carter II
