Could there finally be a Haason Reddick Resolution on the horizon? Just days after being fired by his agency, Reddick has signed on with super agent Drew Rosenhaus in hopes of bringing his stalemate to a close.
Having racked up roughly $10 million in fines, the Jets reportedly gave Reddick a chance to earn that money back with a deal they offered several weeks ago. While his former agents agreed to the Jets offer, Reddick turned it down.
At that point the Jets appear to have thrown their hands up and simply left it up to Reddick to decide if he’d rather continue racking up fines or showing up to work. Up to this point, Reddick has chosen the fines.
Now with Rosenhaus in the picture, the agent released a statement that predictably says Reddick would like to be a Jet “for years to come” and that he looks forward to getting a deal worked out as soon as possible.
The ball now appears to be on it’s way from Reddick’s court, to 1 Jets Drive where owner Woody Johnson, team president Hymie Elhai and GM Joe Douglas will discuss their next move.
