Jets add Pair to Practice Squad, Including S Jaylen Key
The Jets made some low level moves on the practice squad today as Mr. Irrelevant, Jaylen Key was brought back in addition to offensive lineman Alec Lindstrom.
Lindstrom, a Boston College product, played center for the Eagles as a three-year starter. He has yet to appear in an NFL game after spending time with the Rams and Cowboys. He is the brother of former first-round pick Chris Lindstrom of the Falcons.
With a lack of depth at safety, Key is the more likely of the two to see action, but we’d be lying if we said we weren’t fans of Lindstrom’s work in college. A tough, experienced blocker up front, Lindstrom is a long shot to climb his way up to the 53-man roster.
The Jets parted ways with practice squad linebacker Anthony Hines.
