Jets Week 5 Inactive List vs Vikings; Corley Scratched, Rodgers Good to Go in London

Following a disappointing loss at home, the 2-2 New York Jets travel across the pond to London, where they will face the undefeated Minnesota Vikings led by former Jets quarterback Sam Darnold.

After going down late in the 4th quarter of last week’s game with a knee injury, QB Aaron Rodgers was only limited in one practice this week, and should be ready to bounce back in Week 5 with no injury designation. The team announced they elevated Adrian Martinez from the practice squad, which is likely insurance in case Rodgers’ knee flares up during the game. Right tackle Morgan Moses was able to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday this week, but has been ruled out for a second straight game with a MCL sprain and bone bruise. There is optimism that he could return as early as next week against Buffalo on Monday night.

Defensively, DT Leki Fotu returned to practice, opening his 21-day window to be activated off the Injured Reserve. He will be a much needed boost to the run defense up front when he returns to the lineup. Linebacker CJ Mosley is still nursing his toe injury, and looks to miss his 3rd straight game. In his place, Jamien Sherwood looks to build upon his encouraging 2024 campaign. Marcelino McCrary-Ball was also elevated from the practice squad. Here is a full list of inactive for the London showdown this morning:

  • OT Morgan Moses
  • OT Carter Warren
  • RB Israel Abanikanda
  • WR Malachi Corley
  • EDGE Braiden McGregor
  • CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse
  • LB CJ Mosley
