Having made the Jets initial 53-man roster, wide receiver Jason Brownlee was then waived to make room for tight end Brenden Bates. Now the second-year receiver is back as the Jets placed him on their practice squad.
To make room for Brownlee, the Jets parted ways with fellow receiver Lance McCutcheon.
Brownlee made the Jets roster last season after coming to camp as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss. He had five catches for 56 yards and a touchdown as a rookie.
