Malik Taylor Heads to IR as Jets add DT Jaylen Twyman

The Jets have placed wide receiver Malik Taylor on injured reserve which could be somewhat of a blow to the group.  Taylor has some history with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and was having a strong camp.  There was certainly a chance Taylor was going to make the 53 but now he goes on the shelf.

To take his roster spot, the Jets have added former Viking and Dolphins defensive tackle Jalen Twyman. The Pitt product was drafted by the Vikings in the sixth-round of the 2021 draft and yet to appear in an NFL contest.

He did spend last season in the UFL as a member of the San Antonio Brahmas where he logged five tackles and a pair of sacks.
