Xavier Gipson Returns to Practice Following Injury

Good news for Jets fans as Xavier Gipson returns to practice today.  Having missed a week and a half following a lower extremity injury, the slot receiver is back.  He was at practice catching passes from Aaron Rodgers early on.

 

While rookie Malachi Corley has impressed in Gipson’s absence and will likely take his spot, this is still goo news.  The offense has been dealing with plenty of injuries in recent days with Gipson, Malik Taylor and Irv Charles all missing time.

All of this in addition to Mike Williams still being inactive and getting Gipson back makes life a little easier on Aaron Rodgers and company.
