Saleh not Concerned About Michael Carter Ankle Injury
New York Jets cornerback Michael Carter got up limping badly after a play at 1 Jets Drive yesterday and had to limp off with trainers. No diagnosis was known after practice but head coach Robert Saleh did say he wasn’t concerned about the injury.
This take from Saleh should put fans at ease, but his history of whiffing on injury severity and return times is one that will undoubtedly draw some eye rolls from the Jets faithful.
If Carter has to miss any time, expect to see Brandon Echols, Kendall Sheffield and some UDFA corners get some reps in his place.
