Jets Bring back Tight End Anthony Firkser, cut Bawden

Shaking things up a bit on their training camp roster, the Jets brought back a somewhat familiar face in tight end Anthony Firkser while letting go of fullback Nick Bawden.

Anthony Firkser in his first stint with the Jets in 2017.

Firkser had a brief stint with the Jets in 2017 as an undrafted free agent before spending five seasons with the Tennessee Titans and playing two games with the Lions last season.

The Manalapan, New Jersey native has appeared in 71 games, hauling in 115 receptions for 1,207 yards and five touchdowns.  Having let Bawden go, the Jets may view Firkser as a do it all fullback, tight end/h-back.
