Haason Reddick Placed On Did Not Report List; QB Ben Bryant Signed

The New York Jets have made some roster moves as they start up training camp. The team has signed quarterback Ben Bryant while placing veteran edge rusher Haason Reddick on the reserve/did not report list.

Bryant, who stands at 6-3 and weighs 220 pounds, has had a diverse collegiate career. He played for Cincinnati from 2018 to 2020, then transferred to Eastern Michigan for the 2021 season, before returning to Cincinnati in 2022, and finally ending up at Northwestern in 2023. Over his college career, Bryant completed 64.3% of his passes in 49 appearances, throwing for 50 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. He joins a robust quarterback group in the Jets’ training camp, which includes Aaron Rodgers, Tyrod Taylor, and rookie Andrew Peasley.

Haason Reddick, who was acquired this spring in exchange for a 2026 conditional third-round pick, has been placed on the reserve/did not report list. Reddick did not show up for training camp after missing mandatory minicamp earlier this year. His absence leaves a notable gap for the Jets defense but will give more snaps in camp to Michael Clemons and Will McDonald at Edge.

Dan Leberfeld has a short video of Bryant at practice today.
