Aaron Rodgers “Doing Everything” in OTA’s, Hackett Talks Job Security

As expected, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a full go at OTA’s.  This was expected to be the case all along, but hearing Robert Saleh say it after watching Rodgers do it comes as a relief.  Getting the 41-year-old Rodgers on the same page with his teammates is critical in a season with high expectations.

Offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett also met with the press and discussed off-season rumors from multiple outlets that suggested the Jets were looking to get Hackett some help on offense.  One report even suggested the team was looking to appoint somebody over him to run the offense.

Hackett downplayed the rumors saying that he took part in every off-season conversation about the team’s moves on offense and said he has no idea where those reports came from.
