Qwan’tez Stiggers Gets Jets Rookie Deal Done
Apparently on a mission to get his entire draft class under contract today, Jets GM Joe Douglas has signed his fifth draft pick in the past few hours in cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers.
And yet another #Jets draft pick has signed — CB Qwan’tez Stiggers, the last of three picks in the fifth round. It’s four years for about $4.3M for a player with no college experience and one year in the CFL.

Stiggers joins Olu Fashanu, Braelon Allen, Jordan Travis and Isaiah Davis in making the start of their respective careers official.
Perhaps the most intriguing prospect in the entire draft, Stiggers comes to the Jets by way of the Canadian Football League after just one season in which he won defensive rookie of the year. Stiggers landed in the CFL after taking part in a 7-on-7 fan controlled football league.
Despite having already been a pro, Stiggers could not sign as a free agent and had to enter the draft as a player with no college experience.
