Jets add Free Agent Defensive Tackle Javon Kinlaw
Just moments after announcing the addition of offensive lineman John Simpson, the Jets have addressed the other side of the ball by bringing in defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw.

With last year’s tandem of Quinton Jefferson and Al Woods hitting free agency, interior defensive line became a need and the Jets hope Kinlaw can bring that.
A former first round selection, Kinlaw played his rookie season under Jets head coach Robert Saleh who was the 49ers defensive coordinator at the time. While he hasn’t produced the sack numbers many had expected with just five in four seasons, he did log 28 quarterback pressures in 2023.
