Another Jets Assistant Coach out as Ricky Manning Heads to Vegas
Let’s be honest here folks; it’s getting tough to keep up with all of these departures as Jets assistant Ricky Manning joins the parade of coaches and executives heading out of town. This, according to Zach Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
This one flew under the radar: #Jets defensive assistant Ricky Manning Jr. left the team to join the Raiders coaching staff.
Manning coached Jets cornerbacks with Tony Oden from 2021-23.

Manning had worked with Jets DB’s from 2021-2023 and now departs for the bright lights of Las Vegas to join the Raiders.
Manning joins executives Rex Hogan and Chad Alexander along with fellow coaches Zach Azzanni (WR’s), Taylor Embree (RB’s), offensive assistant Mack Brown, QB coach Rob Calabrese in heading for greener pastures.
Perhaps one of the reasons head coach Robert Saleh is taking a pass on the combine is to stay behind and work the phones to assemble a new staff?
