Jets Week 15 Inactive List @ Dolphins; New York Aims to Keep Playoff, Rodgers Hope Alive
This week, the 5-8 New York Jets look to give their slim playoff hopes alive against the 9-4 Miami Dolphins. Along with those postseason aspirations comes the potential return of QB Aaron Rodgers. According to multiple reports, the 40-year old could be cleared for the play prior to the Jets home game vs the Commanders next week. If the Jets can pull off the upset, it wouldn’t be impossible for Rodgers to play on Christmas Eve.
Offensively, WR Jason Brownlee is again inactive. Three offensive linemen come in as questionable, rookies Warren Carter and Joe Tippmann, as well as Mix Mitchell. Of those 3, only Joe Tippmann will suit up and play today.
On the defensive side of the ball, DL John Franklin-Myers enters the week as questionable, but he will play. Rookie pass rusher Will McDonald IV was a late add to the injury report, but he also will be inactive. Carl Lawson, however, will not be active today. Linebacker Zaire Barnes was place on Injured Reserve, and the team elevated Marcelino McCrary-Ball from the practice squad. Here is the full list of inactive players for today’s game:
- WR Jason Brownlee
- OT Carter Warren
- OT Max Mitchell
- DL Carl Lawson
- LB Marcelino McCrary-Ball
- CB Bryce Hall
- QB Brett Rypien (emergency QB)
