Hold the Sauce; Concussion Sidelines Jets Stud CB

As if things weren’t already bad enough for the New York Jets, Sauce Gardner is now officially out for today’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.  The second-year star defender was diagnosed with a concussion and won’t be able to go.

Oddly enough, Gardner took to x, formerly know as twitter, to say that the “crazy part” of the situation was the fact that he feels “perfectly fine”

The loss of Gardner couldn’t come at worse time as the Jets already knew they’d be without cornerbacks  DJ Reed and Brandin Echols due to a concussion and hamstring injury respectively.

Having to go to battle without their top three corners in facing one of the most lethal pass catching combinations in the NFL is far from ideal.  In fact, expect the Eagles to make easy work of the Jets unless Gang Green comes out blitzing early and often to rattle Jalen Hurts and give their secondary a chance to make a play.
