Their roster may become just a bit more flexible in the near future as a pair of Jets rookies return from the PUP list in offensive tackle Carter Warren and defensive back Jarrick Bernard-Converse.
Both players have been on the shelf since training camp and both offer a fair bit of versatility. Warren played both left and right tackle during his time at Pitt. Meanwhile, Bernard-Converse started his college career at cornerback with Oklahoma state but spent time at safety as well. He is currently listed as a safety on the Jets official roster.
Having had to make some changes along the offensive line of late, bringing back a skilled pass blocker who can play on both sides should be a welcome addition.
The Jets will have 21 days to allow the pair to practice before deciding if either (or both) will be added to the active roster or not.
