Jets Tackle Duane Brown Downgraded to OUT for Sunday vs Patriots

In a somewhat surprising move, the Jets have downgraded left tackle Duane Brown to “out” for Sundays meeting with the New England Patriots.  Brown had missed several practices this week but the team had remained confident he would be alright to practice but that won’t be the case.

Duane Brown has been ruled out for Sunday’s game after missing three practices this week.

Head coach Robert Saleh told the media yesterday that the team would not move Mekhi Becton over to left tackle of Brown were to sit.  With that being the case, expect to see Billy Turner protecting Zach Wilson’s blind side.
