Report: Jets Don’t Want Hard Knocks, League Says Tough Luck

A couple of weeks ago when Jets head coach Robert Saleh granted his players an extended vacation, he also touched on the possibility of Gang Green facing the NFL’s “Hard Knocks” cameras upon their return.  Saleh was clearly not a fan.

When asked about the show, Saleh replied, “I know there would be some teams who would love to have Hard Knocks in their building, we’re just not one of them.”  To that, it seems the NFL has said “tough luck”.

Mike Florio of NBC Sports says Gang Green is going to be tabbed to host the wildly popular series that follows one club through training camp every year.

The addition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers this offseason has made the Jets a huge story throughout the league and it looks like the NFL wants to keep that going.

The last time Gang Green was featured on the show was back in 2010 under head coach Rex Ryan, who led the Jets to an 11-5 record and their last AFC championship game appearance.
