Offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste is the newest member of the New York Jets. Unsatisfied with the depth currently on their roster, the Jets moved on from veteran tackle Eric Smith and grabbed Cajuste. A former third-round pick of the New England Patriots, Cajuste lands at 1 Jets Drive in hopes of winning a roster spot.
Taken out of West Virginia in 2019, Cajuste has battled his share of injuries through college and the NFL. The swing tackle missed a season and a half of college action with multiple injuries that included a torn ACL. He would then miss two years as a pro as he had quad and knee surgeries.
We profiled Cajuste prior to the 2019 draft right here and touched on his injury history which has continued to be an issue. Through is four seasons as a pro, injuries have limited Cajuste to just 17 games (5 starts) in four seasons.
