Jets Create cap Space by Re-Working John Franklin-Myers Contract

Looking to free up a bit of cap space before Aaron Rodgers’ contract hits their books, the Jets and defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers

have re-worked JFM’s deal according to insider Field Yates.

According to Yates, the Jets created $3.5 million in cap space by converting Franklin-Myers’ salary into a signing bonus.  Expect more moves from Joe Douglas and company in the days immediately following the NFL draft.
