Allen Lazard Primed to Join Gang Green as Team Begins Importing Rodgers’ Preferred Targets
Just hours after it was reported that quarterback Aaron Rodgers has given the Jets a shopping list of players he’d like the team to work on acquiring, Allen Lazard is on his way to 1 Jets Drive.
It's a four-year, $44M deal for Allen Lazard ($22M gtd), as @Schultz_Report said.
60 catches for 788 yards (career highs) last season. Huge target at 6-5. Only 27 years old. Effective on third down. Outstanding blocker. Versatile: 30 catches from slot, 28 outside. #Jets

The Jets have reportedly come to terms on a four-year, $44 million deal with $22 million of that guaranteed. Lazard and Rodgers have spent the past five seasons together with the Packers. The receiver’s best season was last year when he logged 788 yards and six touchdowns on 60 receptions.
Aaron Rodgers has provided the NY Jets with a wish-list of free agents he would like them to target and acquire, per sources.
It includes Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, Marcedes Lewis and….Odell Beckham Jr.— Dianna Russini (@DMRussini) March 14, 2023
Lazard is just one name given to the Jets by Rodgers according to Dianna Russini of ESPN who said the future Hall of Famer would also like the team to kick the tires on. Receivers Randall Cobb and Odell Beckham are on the list with Lazard along with veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis.
Adding Lazard and Beckham with Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore on board seems unlikely, but expect the Jets to trade or release receiver Corey Davis. The 6′ 5” Lazard gives the Jets the big bodied receiver role that the oft-injured Davis had previsouly filled.
