Saleh: Duane Brown is Game Time Decision; Tackle says he’s “good to go” for Sunday

Jets left tackle Duane Brown could be ready for Sunday’s meeting with the Miami Dolphins and it couldn’t have come at a better time.  While head coach Robert Saleh said Brown is a “game time decision”, the veteran left tackle said he’s “good to go” for Sunday.

Of course, team doctors will have to take a look at Brown to, as they say, protect him from himself.  But as a veteran of fifteen seasons, one would hope Brown has it right.

Obviously in desperate need for help at tackle, the Jets have bene ravaged by injuries at the position, losing Mekhi Becton for the season while Brown, George Fant and Max Mitchell have also had serious injuries.  So thin at tackle were the Jets that right guard Alijah Vera-Tucker suited up at left tackle last week and filled in admirably but will slide back over if Brown can actually go on Sunday.
