Jets Week 4 Inactive List @ Steelers; LB Williams Out, Zach Wilson’s Return

The New York Jets enter their Week 4 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers with new hope on the horizon. That hope comes in the form of QB Zach Wilson’s season debut, in what should be a boost to the offense as a whole. After what was once feared to be a season-ending ACL injury, Wilson is back at 100% health from his torn meniscus and bone bruise, an injury he suffered on August 12th against the Eagles in preseason. Elsewhere on offense, WR Denzel Mims is a healthy scratch, along with TE Lawrence Cager.

Defensively, LB Quincy Williams is the only player who was ruled out prior to game day. “Everyone else is good to go”, said head coach Robert Saleh when asked about the team’s injury status this week. CB Brandin Echols (hamstring) and DL John Franklin-Myers (toe) were both full participants in practice to end the week, so they will both suit up and play today. DL Bryce Huff is finally making his 2022 season debut today, a move that was beginning to frustrate fans. CB Bryce Hall and S Will Parks are both healthy scratches for this afternoon’s game.
