Jets to Waive Perine, Guidry and Pre-Season Standouts
Multiple reports are coming in from various outlets claiming the Jets will be waiving former fourth-round draft choice Lamical Perine and several pre-season standouts.

Quarterback Chris Streveler and wide receiver Calvin Jackson were let go along with Bradley Anae, who stood out in the team’s final two contests. Streverler and Jackson connected on a pair of last-minute game winning TD’s in the 3 game pre-season.
Jets informed QB Chris Streveler, who helped lead the team to an unbeaten preseason and also led the team in rushing yards this summer, that they plan to release him Tuesday, per source.

The Jets are reportedly hoping to bring Jackson back as a member of the practice squad.
Also being let go are linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips and cornerback Javelin Guidry.

Undrafted free agent Irv Charles is also expected to be let go after an underwhelming pre-season as well.
