Report: Jets Turning Down Trade Offers for Denzel Mims
Maybe the Jets like Denzel Mims after all. Despite having nailed the former second-round pick to the bench for much of this season, the team has reportedly turned down any clubs calling about a potential deal. Brian Costello of the New York Post tweeted about the Jets response to trade offers earlier today.
Hearing the Jets have received trade calls about WR Denzel Mims but the answer from the Jets has been a consistent “No.”

Mims played a season-high 59 snaps this Sunday against the Bengals, coming away with 2 catches for 30 yards and a dropped touchdown. Mims’ biggest play of the day, a potential 40 yard catch-and-run reception was called back du to a hold on rookie receiver Elijah Moore.
There’s no denying Mims’ physical talent and attributes and at this point it’s all about getting him reps and targets to allow him to thrive.
