With the start of the NFL season approaching, the Jets putting finishing touches on their roster and today moved safety Ashtyn Davis from the PUP list to the active roster.
Davis, a 2020 third-round pick has been on the shelf all pre-season after missing action to end last season following surgery on his foot.
With Marcus Maye and Lamarcus Joyner set to start at safety for the Jets, Davis will be rotated in when the Jets deploy 3 safeties as the athletic defensive back looks to work toward a starting role next season.
