Ruptured Achilles for Lawson; Other Injury Updates
It was a very tough day on the injury front for the NY Jets. The joint practice with the Green Bay Packers today resulted in what is now being reported as a ruptured Achilles for Carl Lawson.
The mainstream beat guys have other injury updates below. Zane Lewis is also out for the year (MCL). Sheldon Rankins and Denzel Mims are known as both listed as day to day with their injuries.

This isn’t a death sentence for Carl Lawson’s career. He’s only 26
Cam Wake tore his Achilles midway during the 2015 season at age 33.
Came back at age 34 and had 11.5 sacks for the dolphins in 2016 and 10.5 in 2017 at age 35.

I can't recall many players, or perhaps any player, having as dominating a training camp as I watched Jets DE Carl Lawson have this summer
I know it's just practice, but his speed and relentlessness were obvious. It was easy to see the impact he could have on the Jets' line.
