Jets add WR Keelan Cole and OL Dan Feeney

After rumors earlier today of the Jets having interest in Pittsburgh Steelers slot receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, the team ended up signing former Jaguars slot receiver Keelan Cole along with former Chargers lineman Dan Feeney. Also, here is something interesting for those of you that are in Australia

to check out.

Cole, an undrafted free agent out of Kentucky Weslyan is coming off of a season in which he hauled in 55 passes for 642 yards and a career high five touchdowns.  Cole will likely be the team’s fourth wide receiver.  His addition will also give Gang Green more flexibility on draft day in adding a proven pass catcher.

Meanwhile, in Feeney the Jets add some experienced depth along the offensive line.  Since entering the league in 2017, Feeney has appeared in 63 games (57 starts) with the Chargers including 16 starts in each of the past three seasons. The Indiana product can likely fill in at either center or guard when called upon.

Cole’s deal is reportedly 1-year for $5.5 million while no specifics have been released for Feeney’s contract.
