Jets Activate Fatukasi; Langi to IR

The Jets activated Folorunso Fatukasi from the COVID list and also announced that they also placed LB Harvey Langi (neck) on IR. Farukasi was inactive last week but looks like he will be good to go on Sunday vs the Browns.

The 25 year old Fatukasi who was originally drafted by the Jets in the 6th round of the 2018 draft is having a strong season. He has played in all 13 games for the Jets, starting the last five. He has two sacks on the year and a PFF grade of 84.9. He is under contract with the Jets for 2021.

When Adam Gase spoke to the media yesterday he gave this update on Langi’s injury.

We’re still kind of in some of the evaluation stage with Harvey Langi with a neck, not really sure where he’s going to be this week, we’re going to go through some evaluations today and tomorrow and then we’ll be able to determine what his status will be for this week.

Thing apparently didn’t get better as Langi was added to IR.
