After two straight weeks of close losses for New York, the 0-10 Jets are set to take on the 6-4 Miami Dolphins. Similar to their first matchup of the season, Ryan Fitzpatrick will be starting again for the Dolphins, as rookie Tua Tagovailoa nurses a thumb injury.
Conversely, Sam Darnold will be back in the starting lineup for the Jets after missing the last two weeks with a shoulder injury. This marks the first time this season that the Green & White will have their main signal caller and their top 3 pass catchers on the field at the same time.
Veteran Joe Flacco was able to find success with New York’s top wide receiver trio recently, averaging 28 PPG over the last two contests. Can Sam Darnold come back and propel this team forward, perhaps enough to steal a game from their AFC East rivals?
