The Jets have parted ways with rarely used cornerback Quincy Wilson who has been more of an observer than a player for much of the 2020 season.
The Jets spent a sixth-round draft choice on Wilson (211th overall) during the NFL draft but things simply haven’t worked out as Wilson hasn’t seen a defensive snap since week two against the San Francisco 49ers. A former draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts out of the University of Florida, Wilson entered the league with high expectations but has not managed to find his footing as a pro.
The move frees up a roster spot that the Jets may opt to use on rookie cornerback Bryce Hall who is set to return from injury.
