Broncos @ Jets TNF Week 4 Inactive List: Offense gets Boost with Crowder Back
The 0-3 New York Jets host the 0-3 Denver Broncos for their Week 4 Thursday night matchup. After a third straight loss to start the 2020 season, head coach Adam Gase was reported to be on the hot seat. That is until Thursday morning when NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport released an article saying that Gase’s job may not be in question, as many had been led to believe. Denver is traveling to the east coast on a short week, while having 11 total players on Injured Reserve. Brett Rypien will start for the Broncos in place of Drew Lock at quarterback. Meanwhile, for the Jets, Joe Flacco will be active for the first time this season, and will serve as backup to Sam Darnold. Rookie Mekhi Becton comes into this game as questionable, and Gase said he could be used as an “emergency option”. Last week, the Jets were supposed to use center Connor McGovern as an emergency option, but he ended up playing all 64 offensive snaps. Will the same be said for the rookie protecting Darnold’s blindside? Here is the full list of inactive players for Week 4.
- QB James Morgan
- WR Breshad Perriman
- DL Nathan Shepherd
