Crowder Plans on Playing Thursday Night; Injury Updates
It is a short week for the Jets as they prepare for their next game on Thursday night against the Denver Broncos. Adam Gase gave this injury update before the team walk through on Tuesday. The official injury report is listed below that.
- Breshad Perriman with the ankle won’t participate
- Jordan Willis with the ankle won’t participate
Limited today will be:
- Mekhi Becton
- Jamison Crowder
- Ashtyn Davis
- George Fant
- Quincy Wilson
- John Franklin-Meyers
- Chris Hogan
- Jordan Jenkins
Adam Gase was hopeful about getting several of the injured players back on the field. Here are his thoughts on Jamison Crowder’s chances of playing along with several other players like Fant.
Anytime that you can get your best receiver back on the field, that gets you fired up a little bit. So, all these are pointing in the right direction, we’ve just got to make sure the guys keep doing the proper things to get their bodies right and healthy and ready to go, and the guys that are in the concussion protocol we finished those up the proper way and hopefully those guys will be able to play.
So, all those guys will be able to do our walkthrough. Hopefully we can get all these guys in the game and be able to be a lot healthier than what we’ve been.
Jets WR Jamison Crowder believes he will be able to play Thursday. Said he did some cutting today and ran routes. He has missed last 2 games with hamstring injury. #nyj

Joe Flacco doesn’t sound like he’s planning to be active on Thursday night. Says he doesn’t want to rush back, needs to heed medical advice. #Jets pic.twitter.com/uyUOHz634N
