Gase Doesn’t Rule out IR for Denzel Mims
After injuring his “good” hamstring at practice yesterday, Jets rookie receiver Denzel Mims did not participate in today’s session and is unlikely to play on Sunday against the Bills and it could be a lot worse.
Adam Gase said there is a chance Denzel Mims lands on the injured reserve. He will talk to Joe Douglas about that. #Jets

According to Connor Hughes of the Athletic, Gase has not ruled out the possibility of placing Mims on injured reserve, meaning he would be out for at least a few weeks.
Already thin at receiver, if the Jets were to be without Mims, they would be down to Breshad Perriman, Chris Hogan, Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios. Certainly a receiver or two would be added via free agency or added to the active roster from the practice squad.
