Report: Jets Cuts Rolling in; Hairston & White
Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News is reporting that Gang Green has cut ties with cornerback James Hairston and wide receiver Lawrence Cager and quarterback Mike White.

Meanwhile, Brian Costello of the New York Post says offensive lineman Jimmy Murray is also being shown the door.

Murray was a long shot from the get go but Cager had garnered some support since being added as an undrafted free agent and Hairston was viewed by some as a decent depth piece.
With White being shown the door, it appears the second quarterback to start the season will be Adam Gase favorite, David Fales.
The Jets have also cut ties with DB Zane Lewis according to Manish Mehta.
