Jets add Safey Safety Ashtyn Davis With 68th Overall Pick
After landing a couple of offensive starters in Mekhi Becton and Denzel Mims with his first two picks, Jets GM Joe Douglas moved over to the defensive side of the ball and selected Cal safety Ashtyn Davis.
The 6’1″ 202lb Davis earned a scholarship in track at Cal and later walked on to the football team. He has excelled in both sports in college. He is a bit of a wild card in that he has been discussed as a safety and possibly a cornerback in the NFL.
