Jets Activate Pair From IR; Qvale and Franklin-Myers Back at Practice
The Jets announced via their official twitter page that right tackle Brent Qvale and defensive end/outside linebacker John Franklin-Myers have returned to practice after spending the first part of the season on IR.

Both are intriguing players for their own reasons at this point in the season. Jets right tackle Brandon Shell has played well in relief of Chuma Edoga in each of the past two weeks, but the Jets need to do something to get their run game going, and Qvale is the best run blocking tackle on the roster.
Meanwhile, Franklin-Myers is in just his second season but was a surprise cut from the Rams after picking up a couple of sacks in a limited role as a rookie. As the Jets continue to rotate players opposite Jordan Jenkins, Franklin-Myers should be the next edge player to get an audition. Franklin was a fourth-round draft choice of the Rams just one season ago.
