Jamal Adams sets Team Record
It’s been a heck of a week for Jets safety Jamal Adams who earned defensive player of the week seven days ago against the New York Giants when he picked up a pair of sacks, a forced fumble and a touchdown. What would he do for an encore?
#Jets safety Jamal Adams became the second defensive back in the past decade with three sacks in a game, matching Mike Hilton of the Steelers (2017).
With six sacks, Adams has already set the Jets single-season franchise record for the most by a defensive back.

Well, all Adams did today was set a Jets team record for defensive backs with three sacks in a game against the Washington Redskins, giving him the team record for DB sacks in a season with six.
Looks like somebody is going to have some leverage in looking for a contract extension this off-season.
