Jets Injury Update; Fitzpatrick to Start for Dolphins
The Jets are in the news this week, for all the wrong reasons. Those fireworks aren’t due to a celebration on the field. They are what you get during a one win season when you have trade deadline drama. That being said they do have a game on Sunday. They are favored in Miami against the Dolphins. Miami head coach Brian Flores announced today that Ryan Fitzpatrick will start against the Jets.
On Wednesday the Jets had a long list of players that did not practice. Kelvin Beachum, Josh Bellamy, Trenton Cannon, Neville Hewitt, Trumaine Johnson, Ryan Kalil and Rontez Miles were all listed as DNP. Getting Beachum back on the field soon is imperative, the offensive line is struggling and Chuma Edoga is struggling at left tackle.
The full injury report appears below and Connor Hughes provides some additional details.
