The Jets LB Brandon Copeland has officially returned from his four-game NFL suspension and the team has announced that they have waived QB Luke Falk.
Copeland had a career year in his first season with the Green & White in 2018, registering personal-bests with 47 tackles, seven tackles for loss, five sacks and 20 quarterback hits. The fifth-year pro also added five special teams stops. A 2013 undrafted free agent out of Penn, the 6’3”, 263-pound Copeland has totaled 65 tackles, 5.5 sacks and two pass defenses in 48 games.
Falk, who played in three games this season for the Green & White, completed 47-of-73 for 416 yards, had zero touchdowns and three interceptions. The 6’4”, 215-pounder was claimed by the Jets in May. The Washington State product was waived by the Green & White Aug. 31 and signed back to their practice squad the next day.
