Update on Jets GM Search
The New York Jets now have 5 requested interviews for their open GM position. Saints Director of Pro Scouting, Terry Fontenot, joins the race as reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, with fan favorite Joe Douglas of the Eagles interviewing next week.
The candidates are listed below as first reported by multiple sources.
- Joe Douglas, Eagles VP of Player Personnel (Interview has reportedly been set for this weekend)
- Champ Kelly, Bears Assistant Director of Player Personnel (Interview early next week)
- George Paton, Vikings Assistant GM
- Scott Fitterer, Seahawks Co-Director of Player Personnel (Interview late this week)
- Terry Fontenot, Saints Director of Pro Scouting

With a majority of the interviews being conducted next week, the GM hiring should be wrapped up by the end of June.
